Getting hold of us
We are carrying a Garmin inReach satellite communicator, so we can send and receive short text messages in places with no cell service at all, which is most of Nevada and a good deal of Wyoming.

Open our MapShare page and use the Message button. It goes straight to the device over satellite. Keep it short, and be patient, since we only check it at stops.
If something is urgent
Message us on MapShare and text both our phones. Whichever has signal first wins.
If something is an emergency on our end
The inReach has an SOS button wired to a 24/7 emergency coordination centre, and they contact our emergency contacts directly. No news is good news.
